International Destination Services Consultant This is a part-time, fee-for-service, independent contractor opportunity. ......................................................................................................................................................................................... RAI consultant responsibilities are to integrate the international employee into the host community; provide resources that offer a foundation in daily living in that community; and foster self-reliance and independence for the employee and family. RAI is looking for people who are interested in helping the employees and their families relocate to their community. Typically, assistance is delivered during business hours. In some situations, assistance may be needed on nights and/or weekends. RAI usually receives an initiation of services at least 2 weeks prior to the employee’s arrival; however more or less notice is possible. Families are authorized for 1 to 6 days of accompanied assistance. This assistance may include, but is not limited to helping find rental housing, opening bank accounts, filing for Social Security registration, obtaining driver’s licenses, previewing and registering at schools, etc. Candidates need not have any foreign language fluency, but international living and/or travel is a plus. Good communication skills, research abilities, working computer knowledge, comfort with diverse cultures, and customer service experience are all important. Top candidates will be knowledgeable about the area and flexible in schedule. Consultants will work from home and need cell phones, reliable automobiles, and access to Internet and email.
